PART 2: Trying to surpress our feminine energy to fit into today's masculine society is the root of our stress + dis-ease as women (see part 1 in my post from Jan 11)

BEFORE READING, PLEASE UNDERSTAND: this is not some sort of hate speech post to men for the structure of our society. Not at all. Men and women are completely equal - there’s no better or worse between the two - just complimentary, unique, and wonderful differences.

However, the current structure of today’s society and the 8-5 grind IS designed to support men’s hormonal cycles, and does not take the female hormone cycle into consideration whatsoever. (And for the record, no, I don’t think men should always be 8-5 grinders either)… ANYWAY…

This post is designed to help you understand how to live more according to your feminine cycle, no matter where you are in life.

My first 8-5 job had me traveling 3 weeks out of the month, staying in hotel rooms all week, not having much control over my food choices, meetings upon meetings, and a 1.5 hour commute each way to work… and I WAS STRUGGLING.

Not because I’m weak, not because “I can’t do it”, not because I don’t have the resources to do it or the support to do it, but because my physiology was not designed for it.

Please remember, these posts are NOT for women who are happy and thriving in their 8-5s. If this is working for you, making you happy, and contributing to your health, you go girl.

If this resonates with you, you’re not alone! There’s a reason for you feeling this way, and leaning into it will give you a lot more peace than trying to suppress it and talk down to yourself because you’re having a hard time keeping it all together.

Also please remember that you will be blocked immediately if you say anything rude regarding this post! Open and friendly discussions are always welcome.
