Who needs to change up their bedtime snack game?!

And who needs another way to use gelatin besides gelatin gummies? (Love them, but kinda been overdoing them lately TBH 😜)

Each brownie has 11g of protein, so it’s the perfectly macro-balanced bedtime snack of carbs, fat, and protein, and is sooooo good.

In case you haven’t heard, gelatin has a long list of benefits:

•It’s a great digestive aide

•Gelatin heals the lining of the GI system and has been successfully used in treating IBS, intestinal disorders, colitis, and Chron’s disease. (Source: @sallyfallonmorell)

•A good source of protein

•Builds beautiful hair, skin, and nails (much more effective than a biotin supplement)

•Supports liver function and detoxification

•A great source of the amino acid glycine, which has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties (NCBI) and is needed to help balance excess methionine

•In pregnancy, gelatin “…supports the growth of your baby’s skeleton, teeth, internal organs, hair, skin, nails, and the synthesis of fetal DNA.” (Source: @lilynicholsrdn)

And surprise! I snuck in a second recipe which is one of my favorite ways to use @perfectsupplements collagen lately.

Enjoy!
