RAW CARROT SALAD for ESTROGEN DETOXIFICATION!

I’ve been ovulating again for the past few months, and I can tell you that I think one of the biggest contributors has been consuming at least 2 raw carrot salads daily. This is extremely important especially for someone like me, who has such extreme estrogen dominance that it turned into a disease (#endometriosis).

What’s all the rage with eating carrot salads to support excess estrogen and endotoxin elimination? I’ll get into it, but first…

The recipe:

🥕1-2 large ribboned carrots, peeled first

🥥1 tsp coconut oil or olive oil

🍎1 tsp apple cider vinegar, rice vinegar, white vinegar, or any vinegar of your choosing

🧂mineral-rich salt

🍯drizzle of honey mustard (it’s delish and adds SO much flavor)

(This recipe is based off of @katedeeringfitness and @pureenergypdx, it’s not very original besides the honey mustard)

I eat 2 raw carrot salads daily, and advise my clients to do the same. IMO, this is honestly one of the single most important things you can to to help balance your estrogen. Here’s some benefits of carrots/raw carrot salad:

✅The antibacterial fiber in carrots binds with toxins like excess estrogen and endotoxins in the digestive system, and escorts them out of the body through elimination

✅This works better than almost every supplement I’ve ever used for estrogen detoxification, at a FRACTION of the price! Carrots are CHEAP!

✅Because carrots grow underground, they have to protect themselves from some of the bacteria and fungi in the soil. “These fungicides and bacteriostats act as a natural antiseptic and antibiotic in the bowel.” - @katedeeringfitness

Best practices:

🥕I eat my raw carrot salad either between meals or before meals. I usually eat it while I’m cooking. This isn’t necessary, but I give it some time to “go through my system” first.

💧I ribbon my carrots & soak them in a jar of water for ~24 hours before consuming. This helps reduce some of the beta carotene in the carrots, which can be toxic to the thyroid for anyone with low thyroid or low metabolic rate.

If you can’t make the salad, at the very least, get a couple of raw carrots in every day! Your hormones will thank you 🙏🏼
