Pregnancy is a healing state

Fertility Mini-Series: PART 3

We often talk about how pregnancy takes, depletes, and even deprives women, but it was not until this year that I started to really dive into the healing miracle of pregnancy.

In February, I asked in my stories for healing pregnancy testimonials. I was blown away by the responses I received (see my “pregnancy heals” highlight).

Dozens of women shared their stories of pregnancy healing them mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Looking into the science behind how pregnancy can heal has been incredibly eye-opening. It’s beautiful and mind blowing. Something only God can come up with.

For those of you who are still scared to get pregnant because you don’t feel like your health is “perfect” or you “haven’t done enough” (hello, that’s totally me!), I hope this post brings you some peace. I know it has for me.

Of course, I think that preparing for pregnancy for a solid amount of time before conceiving is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY and should be a priority for everyone!!!

This is one of the biggest reasons why I have created my nutrition business and am working on Eat Your Prenatal with @wildlyonswellness and @emmalee_awake (more info in bio). Nutrition before, during, and after conception really is critical for optimal pregnancy outcomes for both mom and baby.

But, we are never going to be in *perfect* health. We are never going to feel like it’s the *perfect* time to get pregnant. So just remember that no matter what, God’s plan is bigger than yours, and He will not only use your pregnancy to nourish your baby, but to bring you peace and healing in ways that only He can.
