My Grocery Shopping List


MY WEEKLY GROCERY SHOPPING LIST!


If you can’t tell by now, I’m alllllllll about the lists 😂 and this here is my grocery shopping list. I always refer back to this and these are my absolute staples!


I truly have almost every single one of these items in my house right now and use them on a weekly basis.


Please note: I didn’t write organic or grass fed or pasture raised, etc. in front of every single item, because I think everyone gets the idea. But just to clarify, I do purchase 90% of my groceries organic unless there’s a reason not to (like it comes from a small family farm that isn’t USDA certified)


ALSO - I want to make a point to say that I’m all about a good grocery shop, but the more you can support local farms and farmers markets when it comes to things like meat, eggs, dairy, honey, jam, local fruit, etc. the better!


If you saw my Costco list post from April 7th, you’ll see that some of my grocery lists overlap with my Costco list. I just get what I can where I can.


Don’t forget that a LOT of products that look “healthy” are often times hiding PUFAs. I went to grab some organic dried cranberries the other day and saw that the third ingredient was SUNFLOWER OIL. (Why why why🤦‍♀️). Somebody call the PUFA police aka the @strong.sistas 😂

Refrigerated:

  • Grass fed organic ground beef

  • Pork shoulder/butt

  • Beef brisket or roast

  • Eggs - Pasture raised, soy-free if possible

  • organ meats such as oxtail, beef tongue, liver, etc.

  • Teton waters ranch hot dogs, polish dogs, and mini hot dogs

  • chicken thighs/breast

  • Oysters

Frozen

  • Applegate Breakfast Sausages

  • Bonafide provisions bone broth

  • Frozen fish such as cod, mahi mahi, orange roughy (make sure it’s wild caught)

  • shrimp

  • Other frozen meats

Dairy

  • Kefir

  • Butter (Kerrygold or Kalona butter are my favorite non-raw brands)

  • Raw milk OR Kalona Supernatural brand

  • cheese

  • Heavy cream

  • Greek Yogurt


Preferably, dairy should be consumed raw. If you can't find raw at your grocery store, find a local farmer.


Produce

  • Fruit

    • Papaya, mango, kiwi

    • Oranges/clementines

    • Bananas/Apples

    • Lemons (to squeeze in your water)

  • Veggies

    • carrots

    • Onions/garlic

    • Swiss chard, beet greens, etc for mineral broth

    • potatoes

    • Winter squashes

    • Beets (Love Beets)

    • Avocado

    • herbs (basil, rosemary, etc.)

Snacks

  • Artisan Tropic Cassava Flour Chips

  • Siete Chips

  • barnana plantain chips

  • Epic meat bars

  • That's it fruit bars

  • UNREAL brand dark chocolate coconut bars

  • Whisps parmesan cheese crisps

  • dried dates

  • Dried fruit

  • cheese/cheese sticks

  • Guacamole cups

  • Ice cream

  • Liver pate

  • pork rinds

Other

  • Coconut water

  • Orange juice

  • Juice of any kind to make gelatin gummies

  • A HIGH quality salt - Redmond’s Real Salt for store-bought

  • Jovial Cassava Flour Pasta

  • Jovial Gluten Free Pasta

  • Organic Spices - Simply Organic or Frontier Co-Op

  • Organic sourdough bread if you can tolerate gluten

  • Canned tuna (make sure it’s wild caught & mercury tested)

  • dried cranberries

  • tea/coffee

  • canned oysters

  • One degree organics sprouted oats

Condiments

  • GLUTEN FREE Worcestershire sauce

  • Coconut Aminos

  • Canned Coconut Milk (Native Forest is my fave)

  • Cream of tartar (for making the adrenal cocktail)

  • Coconut oil

  • coconut oil spray

  • Organic Olive Oil

  • Chosen Foods or Sir Kensington’s Avocado oil mayo

  • Organic balsamic vinegar

  • Olives

  • pickles

  • Bbq sauce

  • ketchup & mustard

Baking Needs

  • Coconut flour

  • Arrowroot flour

  • Cassava flour

  • white sugar

  • brown sugar

  • Baking soda (aluminum free)

  • cream of tartar

  • chocolate chips

  • Honey/maple syrup

  • One degree organics organic oats
